Aboriginal Led Business with Women Leading
by Gilligan Group
An intimate evening celebrating Indigenous enterprise
The inaugural Women Leading event marked the beginning of a new community aimed at connecting ambitious women through authentic conversations, shared experiences, and meaningful relationships.
A crafted experience, our launch celebrated Abororiginal-led businesses and brought together entrepreneurs, senior executives, and emerging leaders from across Western Australia’s business community to celebrate the establishment of Women Leading.
With personalised invitations, a curated wine tasting courtesy of Battles Wine and food crafted by Hazar’s Kitchen, all funds raised from the event were donated to EON Aboriginal Foundation in support of its remarkable work in supporting Aboriginal communities across Australia.

Insights from Inspiring Leaders
At the heart of the evening was a panel discussion featuring three accomplished women whose careers span business, mining, Indigenous leadership and social impact.
Guest speakers included:
- Caroline de Mori AM, Founder of EON Aboriginal Foundation and Indigenous health advocate
- Jordan Pedley, Managing Director of Barakee and President of WA Mining Club
- Dr Amanda Healy, CEO of Warrikal Pty Ltd and Managing Director of Kirrikin
Drawing on their diverse leadership journeys, the panel shared honest reflections on building successful careers, leading with purpose and carving a path in industries where women continue to break new ground. The evening concluded with an engaging Q&A session, giving attendees the opportunity to ask questions and share personal experiences.
